Job Description
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., Cisco routers, switches, Nexus series, Cisco, Juniper, HP Switches ,Routers & Dell Switches ) Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, VPN,) Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability Provide Level-2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure Ability to handle pressures and co-ordinate between various teams. Need to make sure that issues are handled in right time frames as per the SLA / commitments. Interact with customers to provide and process information. Should be good at documenting the nature of the problems. Gather customers information and determine the issue.
